Now You Can Have A Real-Life Gucci Experience

As fashion fans head to the theaters for the highly anticipated film about the spectacular rise of luxury brand Gucci, you can also get an off-screen experience of the fashion empire. Casetta, a 270-year-old luxury farmhouse in Chianti, has launched a Afternoon in the Gucci Garden experience for guests who book three or more nights at the resort nestled in the sprawling hills of Tuscany, just half an hour from Florence.

The “Gucci Garden Afternoon” includes a day at the Gucci Museum, a private guide, and round-trip private car transfers to and from Florence. Reservations for a gourmet lunch with wine at the Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura can also be arranged.

Guests have the opportunity to tour the three-story Gucci Museum at their leisure and explore the past six fascinating years of fashion under the guidance of current Creative Director Alessandro Michele. The museum presents immersive and digital exhibits on the inspiration and modern evolution of the famous brand. There is an on-site bookstore and boutique for those looking to purchase new accessories or coffee table books.

After a visit to the museum, guests can satisfy their appetite with an optional visit to the Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura for a multi-course lunch that features a modern take on Italian cuisine. You can choose from an à la carte menu or a tasting menu with wine. Costs for two start at around $ 1,321 and include a double room with private bathroom for three nights, a private car to and from Florence, tickets to the Gucci Museum, and a private guide.

Other experiences at the famous Casetta include personalized art history tours, guided mountain biking, hot air balloon rides, truffle hunting, cooking classes, wine tours, special dinners from chef with live music and dancing and personalized on-site spa services for guests. Casetta is available for booking entire groups for weekly private stays or individual stays.

But I wait, there is still more for you in the land of Gucci.

In honor of Gucci House film, global guided vacation company Trafalgar created an exclusive 8-day trip across Italy to get a dose of Gucci from the source with incredible fashion, history, scenery and of course, Italian food along the way.

The adventure begins in Milan, the capital of Italian fashion, headquarters of Gucci’s headquarters and where the protagonists Maurizio Gucci and Patrizia Reggiani got married. Travelers will explore filming sites and city highlights such as La Scala Opera House and the famous Duomo before heading to Italy’s most famous lake and vacation hotspot for the rich and famous, Lake Como (where you might meet actor George Clooney and his wife Amal). Other highlights of the trip included a visit to the Gucci flagship store in Rome; explore the seaside resort of Gressoney Saint Jean located at the foot of the highest mountain in the Pennine Alps which served as Saint Moritz’s replacement in the film; spend the day at Florence’s spectacular Gucci Garden, with a two-level boutique and gallery rooms depicting Gucci’s history and more.

The exclusive “Glamor in Italy” itinerary departs on March 26e, 2022, starting at $ 2,370 per person, and includes on-trip transportation, accommodations, multiple meals and expert guides.

Don’t forget an extra suitcase for all your Gucci purchases!
